Fishing areas appear randomly on the map for a duration of 12 hours.
Some talents unlocked by leveling up are necessary:
- Fishing Ace: Mandatory talent for fishing events to appear on the map
- Angler's Luck: Allows you to find rarer fish. (3 levels)
- Fishing skill: Increases the size of the yellow circle. (5 levels: 2% to 10%)
Chests
When you fish, there is sometimes a small chest that appears on the gauge. To unlock the chest you must target the chest (be careful, if you leave the fish alone, it may escape).
In these chests, you can find trinkets (shoes, crowbar, electronic gear, etc.)
Additional storage
When your backpack is full, during a Fishing Event, you can continue fishing and a crate of fish will appear next to you.
Buffs: List of recipes
With the fish you have collected, you can cook temporary buffs, such as:
- Raid noise reduction
- Run faster (useful at bravo bunker)
- Increases the chance of getting the best friend trait
- The rarer the fish (bronze, silver, gold), the longer the duration of the buff. (for example if the bronze lasts 8 min, the gold causes a bonus of 20 minutes.)
How to get a sturgeon?
Cook the recipe to increase your chances of getting a rare fish. Go to the fishing area and wait until it is dark. With any luck, you should have gotten your sturgeon.
How to get a catfish?

Fishing with grenades
Throwing a grenade into the water immediately ends the fishing session, but you will instantly get 4 fish. And it will be necessary to rebait or wait for the next fishing area to get more fish.
Tip: Catch ~6 fish with your rod then unpin a grenade. Ps: It also works with the AK47 grenade launcher mod.
The merchant - The ace of fishing
In each fishing area you will find a merchant who will trade fish for rewards. The type of fish, quantity and rarity of fish requested will change each time. In exchange, you will have the choice between 3 rewards. If you don't have the requested fish, you can close the deal in exchange for coins.

To complete the quests you have to go to the fishing area that appears on the global map near the limestone cliffs.
